Quartz, also referred to as Engineered Stone, is an Italian-founded process whereby small pieces of natural stone are melded together under high heat and pressure, within a resin matrix.

Quartz is highly durable, low maintenance, and a great alternative for those who wish to have the look of marble without the same characteristics.

While durable, quartz is not bulletproof. It is generally labelled stain and scratch resistant and therefore care should be taken not to place any hot pots and pans on the surface, and to wipe up spills immediately.
